We envision a world where all are born-again in Christ Jesus.
In 2020, Elise Hatsuko launched Miya from her law school condo. We believe in operating from a place of love and acceptance, while igniting difficult conversations, honoring natural expressions, and searching for God’s beauty.
Our mission is to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope to live alongside those who are far from God and demonstrate His goodness through our everyday life.
A Note From Elise
I launched Miya because I felt that there was something missing in the lifestyle space. I responded by creating a brand that is decidedly God-centered and feminine – yet whimsical.
Since I was an undergraduate in Arizona, I have loved fashioning my own lifestyle and found that I was passionate about topics like wellness, style, and travel. As I grew more into my authentic self, I craved a peaceful, positive space where I could continuously develop and flourish. I decided to create Miya, an online experience aimed at just that.
Miya is my maternal family’s name. They are Japanese by way of Hawaii and I was blessed to grow up and attend law school in the Kingdom. I am now planted in San Francisco, California.
I know that you’re caring, kind, and confident – rooted in the Spirit. I get that you are a conscious consumer, and we’re here to make sure that you have somewhere to browse.
Think of us as your favorite cousin or childhood friend. Someone to have lunch, go to the spa, or shop with.
